Hello! Thanks for checking-out njwakefest.com, the home of The New Jersey East-West Wakefest!
It all began with Jeff Barton's vison to unite New Jersey's east coast salt water wakeboarders with Western New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania's Delaware River wakeboarders. Then, after three years of discussion and planning, it all came together on Saturday June 3, 2006.
Sadly, mother nature wasn't on our side on the day of event. But despite the damp, sunless weather, lots of people turned-out and The New Jersey East-West Wakefest became a magical happening that took-on a life of its own!
Very special guest wakeboarders Brett Eisenhauer, Parks Bonifay, Robb Reid and Austin Langston were all on hand to mingle with the crowd and sign autographs, and the voice of wakeboarding himself Jeff Barton was on the microphone all day keeping the crowd motivated and the enrgy level high. Everyone had a great time.
